Why the Fog Bank?

I've been listening to the WeatherBrains podcast for quite a while. Back in early 2011, JB Elliott was frequently missing a pick for picks of the week, and I started emailing JB a pick for every week. At first, Kevin Selle, as email officer, was thanking me, but changed his tune. In March 2011, during episode 267 "Pizza in the Cold", Kevin Selle called me out. (Audio of the callout)

I sent the first audio file on March 21, 2011, and have been fairly steady in sending them in since. Even with the Fog Bank, I'd still send JB a pick to use. I started calling it "The Fog Bank" on April 04, 2011, and asked listeners to help me keep WeatherBrains fog horn free for JB.
