He talks about CoCoRaHS in the video

There is, or will be very soon, a CoCoRaHS gauge in the vegetable garden at the White House. I’ve got the press release on my blog

Spaceweather.com noted the arrival of a large Coronal Mass Ejection, and the resulting aurora
http://spaceweather.com/archive.php?view=1&day=17&month=03&year=2015

While we still have them, many of my picks will be Aurora photos. This one is from APOD
http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap150319.html

And another pic, at spaceweather.com, of the St. Patrick’s Day geomagnetic storm.

How about a double eclipse of the sun? As the eclipse of March 20 neared totality, a photographer caught the ISS transiting the sun as well. This is at Astronomy Picture of the Day
http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap150322.html

Spaceweather.com had a link to a nice video of the March 20 eclipse

That Spaceweather.com page also had a great photo of M5-class eruption on the sun, captured from the Solar Dynamics Observatory.

Angela Fritz wrote at The Capital Weather Gang about the groundskeepers at Fenway Park and snow removal. They spread, by hand, two tons of black sand over the snow to help get it to melt faster and avoid damage that plowing or other removal methods might cause.
